skrendu.lt — a convenient flight booking platform for smart travelers — approached Stepdraw to create a short commercial about how awesome they are. So the folks at Stepdraw and I geared up and came up with a bold idea, bright and colorful visuals, and a variety of different styles to represent this company of specialists who are crazy about travel.
The idea was to present the benefits that skrendu.lt wanted to highlight in the video, using different styles and mediums, emphasizing the variety of those perks.
Mixing several different design styles into one visually coherent piece was an exciting challenge. Every scene was tied together by the same color palette and a few key design characteristics repeated throughout the video.
Designing the airplane scene gave me the most satisfaction. Who knew that drawing planes would be this much fun!

A few scenes included a mix of 3D and 2D graphics, which turned out to be an unexpectedly pleasing experiment and resulted in some good looking styleframes.
