36 Days of Type
In this weird year of 2020, I decided to have a second go at this typographic challenge. I set myself a reasonable goal of creating the letters in my own name (and a few for a collaboration with a group of other artists). May the gods of typography be pleased with my offering.
I chose a small color palette, my beloved noise textures, and interesting typographical shapes. Oh, and some smiley faces, of course! The grid in the background serves not only as a decorative feature; it also shows the optical adjustments of every individual glyph. The animations were inspired by variable fonts.
